3 Days (2 Nights) Mikumi National Park
Mikumi National Park Safaris departure From Dar es Salaam. This safari to Mikumi can be as short as two days or three days and two nights, depending on your available time and budget. It is ideal for business travelers who are only in Dar es Salaam for a short period of time, as well as tourists visiting the beaches in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar. Visit Mikumi National Park, one of the magnificent parks in Tanzania’s southern circuit.
The Selous Game Reserve and the Mikumi constitute a distinct habitat that is bordered to the south by the Mikumi. A subspecies of giraffe that is found in the park is thought by biologists to be the connection between the Masai giraffe and the reticulated or Somali giraffe. Elephants, zebras, impalas, elands, kudus, black antelope, baboons, wildebeests, and buffaloes are among the other wildlife in the park. There are two man-made pools with hippos that are about 5 kilometers to the north of the park. The park is also home to more than 400 different species of birds.
It is important to keep in mind that the drive from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park is lengthy and can take anywhere between 4 and 6 hours, depending on traffic as you leave the city of Dar es Salaam as well as the number of police checks you encounter along the way, which can take up a lot of your time. Additionally, there are a disproportionate number of speed limit signs on the road, the most noticeable of which are along parts where the speed limit is 50 km/h. On this route, speed guns will slow down.

EXCELLENT Based on 52 reviews Posted on Laetitia BVerified Maassai village and Stonetown tour We experienced a fantastic moment in a Maassai village where we could witness their way of living. They were very friendly. We also did a tour of Stonetown with a very friendly guide who taught us many things about this city. I can only recommend this guide tour, Thomas is very thoughtful (he even gave us a nice gift), helpful and quick to respond. He is very friendly as were the driver and the guide. He also received bottles of water for the excursion which is a very nice touchPosted on ANTONELLA2510Verified Safari fantastico Abbiamo fatto un safari al Serengeti e ngorongoro di 3 giorni e due notti. It was a great experience! Our Guide Davie matched totally to our expectations and even humor. We did already some Safari so we can say that it was all well organized and Davie has great experience, we spotted all big five several times, and our favorite Cheetah:) of course it needs also luck but also experience and good eyes! We had a great week, we started our journey in Serengeti, then Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Tarangire to Arusha and the last day we had a nice walk to the waterfall and coffee plantation closed to Kilimajaro. So Davie picked as up in Seronera airport and dropped us at the Kilimajaro airport. They offer also a good price quality for the great service.Posted on Lisa SVerified Alles super! Posted on Simone NVerified Rundum alles super!!
