Location:
Karafuu Beach Resort is situated on the pristine southeastern coastline of Zanzibar, surrounded by lush, manicured tropical gardens and offering expansive beachfront views. The resort is approximately 65 kilometers — about an hour’s drive — from Zanzibar Town and the airport.

Accommodation:
The resort offers 89 well-appointed rooms, including 26 sea-facing Junior Suites, 35 Cottages, and 28 Garden Rooms. All accommodations are constructed under traditional Makuti (palm thatch) roofing and furnished with classic Zanzibari-style décor. Each room includes a comfortable bed with mosquito netting, ceiling fan, air conditioning, en suite bathroom with shower, hot and cold water, hairdryer, telephone, room safe, and mini-bar. The Junior Suites and Cottages also feature a private garden entrance, a spacious bedroom with dressing area, a scenic veranda with stunning views, and in the case of Junior Suites, a tea-making facility. Many Junior Suites are nestled under swaying palms or perched on a small hill overlooking the ocean.

Guests can enjoy a range of amenities including a main swimming pool, a separate kids’ pool, a cocktail bar and poolside bar, and three dining venues offering diverse culinary options.
