The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. An area of about 30,000 km2 in the north of Tanzania and Kenya, of which 80 % is located in Tanzania.

The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers. Thousands of predators are moving because of the drought in the northern hills to the southern plains. The grasslands cover more than one-third of the park, where you will find many animals throughout the year.

Overnight and dinner at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

Start your day with an early drive from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a journey that takes you across the Great Rift Valley and through lush forest before arriving at the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.

This ancient collapsed volcano forms a dramatic landscape and a unique ecosystem, rich in diverse vegetation and wildlife. Marvel at the vibrant scenery and the abundance of animals that call this natural wonder home.

Ngorongoro Crater hosts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and the rare black rhino. It’s one of the finest locations to see all of the Big Five in one place. The panoramic views from the crater rim are simply breathtaking.

Recognized as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, the area also offers cultural experiences, such as visiting a traditional Maasai village (boma). You’ll descend over 600 meters into the crater for an unforgettable game drive, supported by year-round water and grazing land that attracts zebra, wildebeest, warthogs, elands, and massive elephants.
